Moving from out of state to the Charlotte area. Debbie came highly recommended by a friend. We talked on the phone a couple times to give her an idea of what I was looking for. Flew into town, only had 2 days, met her at her office. She had probably 16 homes to look at. She had done her homework! Spent 1 day looking at 8 prospective properties. She knew the areas, had choosen homes that met my criteria. On day 2 she took me to a home that originally wasn't on her list, but she knew it had what I had been looking for. Nailed it. Still continued looking at other properties just in case buyer didn't accept my offer. They did. Her attention to detail, before, during, and after the sales made the purchase painless. Highly recommend her.

My experience with Lake Norman Realty has all been through one realtor--who has consistently gone above and beyond when it comes to things realtors do in order to help a client sell and/or acquire a property. Debbie did both of these things for my father--with conscientious care and not just professionalism, but personalized and purposeful presence and action. My limited experience with realtors is that they just list a property and want to see it sold--mostly for their own benefit. What Debbie did goes so far above and beyond that there honestly aren't adequate descriptors. She took a genuinely challenging property (lots of years of decline combined with my sweet father's propensity towards hoarding) and found a way to let him walk away from said former home with dignity and a remarkable sale price that was generous for my father, and reasonable for the new owner. Following the sale of that particular property my father suffered a debilitating stroke. Debbie stepped in and helped us sell that home as well. Again, not just as a typical "slap a sale sign on the place" but in a -- helping us hire the appropriate repair people to get the maximum "bang for the buck" while accommodating the needs of the seller and the buyer. This is a rare gift. I don't live in North Carolina--but, if I did, there isn't any other realty I would choose to list my home with than Lake Norman Realty--and Debbie Monroe.
